Job Overview Lincoln Trail Area Development District (LTADD), a multi-jurisdictional, planning and development agency, is seeking a motivated, team-oriented and dynamic professional to join our LINC Communications Division as an Operations Director. In this role, you will provide day-to-day guidance and technical expertise to the department directors and other team members as required. Directs and supervises the department directors to ensure LINC's communications products and services are effectively and professionally delivered to enhance clients' businesses, strengthen brand awareness and support organizational goals. The incumbent will work collaboratively with local governments, non-profit organizations, and businesses throughout the LTADD region and beyond to support and enhance regional economic development initiatives. The incumbent also ensures that all programs, projects, and work activities are carried out in accordance with agency policies, state and federal regulations, guidelines, and professional standards. Responsibilities Direct the day-to-day operations of the division, including resource allocation, workflow management, and performance monitoring. Prepare and manage the division's annual operating and capital improvement budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accountability. Maintain regular touchpoints with clients. Develop budgets and conducts on-going analysis of annual budgets including program expenditures to assure funding sources are accessed in the correct manner. Develop and/or maintain project management and reporting systems across the division. Develop, process and update contracts as required. Provide assistance, monitor and periodically evaluate the performance of services under agency contracts. Oversee project briefs and interaction with contract service providers to make sure client's goals and objectives are properly communicated, outlined and exceeded. Provide creative services and support as needed. Participate in regular meetings with clients to ensure services are being delivered and client expectations are being met. Oversee the procurement and management of contracts with external consultants, contractors, vendors, and governmental entities to include the development, processing, updating of contracts as well as invoicing. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or related field and two (2) years of relevant experience and in a leadership/management role.
General Qualifications:
Must possess excellent oral and written skills. Must possess proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet programs, with the flexibility to learn other applications as necessary. Should be able to compile data, prepare reports, and possess resourcefulness and sound judgment. Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and work consistency. Ability to work with a variety of agencies and individuals projecting a positive image of LTADD. Willingness to be a team player, understanding of organizational structure and ability to work within the structure. Must possess understanding of governmental reporting requirements. Must possess a valid Kentucky Real ID Driver's License. LTADD is a drug free work place and an EOE, AA, ADA, Title VI employer. Pay:
$60,721.02 - $67,659.52 per year
