Start YOUR career with DHL today… DHL Express is seeking a Mezzanine Operations Supervisor (L2, 3rd Shift) to join our team at the CVG Hub in Erlanger, Kentucky. This leadership role is responsible for supervising daily mezzanine operations and ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely movement of express cargo throughout the hub network. The successful candidate will oversee frontline operations, drive operational excellence, promote a strong safety culture, and ensure compliance with company policies and customer requirements. This position plays a critical role in maintaining service quality, productivity, and employee engagement in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Lead, coach, and develop a team of operational employees to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals. Ensure daily staffing plans are developed and executed to support operational demands. Monitor, track, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics. Conduct timecard reviews and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance. Facilitate daily team meetings, safety briefings, and operational communications. Oversee frontline operations to ensure efficient cargo processing and movement. Promote a culture of safety by ensuring adherence to all company, regulatory, and airport requirements. Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions to improve performance and service levels. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network objectives and customer expectations. Ensure compliance with DHL policies, procedures, and performance standards. Minimum Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED required. Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, distribution, or a related operational environment preferred. Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Skills & Abilities Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate employees. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively over high-volume radio channels. Flexibility to work varying schedules as required to meet operational needs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to obtain and maintain an airport security badge and/or Customs clearance as required. Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screening requirements. Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, climb stairs and ladders, and perform other physical activities associated with warehouse operations. Ability to work in a variety of environmental and weather conditions. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of DHL operational systems, applications, and processes. Experience in express logistics, air cargo, hub operations, or package handling environments. Understanding of safety, quality, and performance management principles within a distribution or transportation setting.
