As a result of these growth strategies, we are looking to hire skilled and talented team members based in Bossier City, Louisiana. District Administrator (Events & Travel Coordination)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive District Administrator with strong experience in administrative operations, event planning and travel coordination. This role is based in the Bossier City office and supports daily office operations while managing logistics for internal/external events and coordinating complex domestic and international travel. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, anticipates needs, and delivers seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support Provide day-to-day administrative support to executives and/or teams Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate conference calls Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence Maintain filing systems (digital and physical) and office and safety supplies Handle incoming phone calls and communications, distribute to appropriate departments and act as a point of contact. Event Planning & Coordination Plan, coordinate, and execute company events (meetings, conferences, team offsites, client events) Manage event timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships Source venues, catering, audiovisual services, and accommodations Coordinate invitations, RSVPs, and attendee communications Oversee on-site logistics and troubleshoot issues during events Conduct post-event evaluations and reporting Travel Coordination Arrange domestic and international travel (flights, hotels, ground transportation) Coordinate and manage lodging for field crews and corporate offices personnel Monitor travel changes and provide real-time support as needed Ensure compliance with company travel policies and budget guidelines Process expense reports and maintain travel records Qualifications Proven experience in administrative support, event planning, and travel coordination Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent written and verbal communication Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with travel booking tools and event management platforms Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Previous experience supporting senior executives would be an asset Budget management and vendor negotiation experience Flexibility to work occasional evenings and travel for events BJ Energy Solutions provides successful candidates with hands-on training, ongoing mentorship, a comprehensive benefits package starting on their first day, and competitive hourly compensation.
