Property Manager — Property Maintenance & Field Operations Barrister Premier Properties, LLC Mandeville / Covington — Northshore Louisiana Barrister Premier Properties, LLC is seeking a hands-on Property Manager to take full ownership of maintenance and field operations across our portfolio of multifamily apartments, hotels, shopping centers, commercial properties, and tenant spaces throughout the Northshore. This is a field-based leadership position for someone with strong construction and maintenance experience who can diagnose problems, lead a 3-4 person maintenance crew, manage work orders, purchase materials, and personally perform work when needed. Key Responsibilities Manage, assign, and track daily maintenance work orders. Lead and supervise a 3-4 person in-house maintenance crew. Diagnose building and maintenance issues and determine the best repair solution. Create scopes of work and material takeoffs. Purchase materials ahead of scheduled work and respond quickly to emergency material needs. Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance alongside the crew when needed. Conduct regular property walks and inspections. Perform tenant/resident move-out inspections and coordinate turnover work. Establish preventative maintenance schedules and maintain property standards. Respond to emergency maintenance issues and prioritize work accordingly. Track outstanding repairs and ensure work is completed properly and timely. Take full ownership of maintenance issues from initial diagnosis through final completion. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in construction, property maintenance, facilities, or maintenance supervision. Strong knowledge of multiple trades, including carpentry, general construction, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and painting. Proven ability to lead and manage maintenance personnel. Experience with scopes of work, takeoffs, and material purchasing. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Comfortable working in the field daily and performing hands-on work. Reliable transportation and clean driving record. Strong communication skills and professional presence.
