The Area Supervisor serves as the primary mediator between ISP and its hotel partners while ensuring exceptional service delivery, employee performance, and client satisfaction. This position is responsible for supervising contract employees, conducting quality inspections, coordinating staffing needs, recruiting and onboarding new employees, resolving employee and client concerns, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining strong relationships with hotel management. The ideal candidate is a hands on leader who thrives in a fast paced hospitality environment, possesses excellent communication and organizational skills, and is committed to delivering outstanding customer service. Reports to :
Regional Director of Operations Key Responsibilities :
Supervise daily operations across multiple assigned hotel properties. Lead, coach, and support employees to ensure high performance and professionalism. Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new team members. Coordinate staffing, schedules, and coverage for client locations. Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with hotel and ISP standards. Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel management and clients. Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and administer corrective action when necessary. Respond quickly to staffing shortages, operational issues, and client requests. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and hotel brand standards. Monitor attendance, productivity, and employee performance. Complete operational reports, inspections, and payroll/timekeeping documentation. Travel regularly between assigned properties to oversee operations and provide leadership. Maintain clear communication with ISP leadership, hotel partners, and employees. Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or management experience , preferably in hospitality, housekeeping, staffing, or hotel operations. Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written) required. Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Experience managing multiple employees, schedules, and client accounts. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with hotel management and staff. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable using scheduling and timekeeping systems. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel between assigned properties. Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call support as needed. Must maintain a professional appearance and uphold ISP's standards of service and professionalism.
