Job Description

Overview The J-1 International Food & Beverage Interns participates in a structured training program designed to provide international hospitality students or recent graduates with hands-on experience in restaurant and guest service operations. The intern works alongside service leaders and team members to develop professional service skills, learn U.S. hospitality standards, and gain exposure to high levels of guest engagement in a dynamic restaurant environment. Responsibilities Assist F&B team members with daily restaurant operations, including hosting, service support, Room Service, Coffee Shop, Restaurant and F&B Outlets. Learn and practice proper steps of service to ensure a positive dining experience for guests. Greet guests in a professional and welcoming manner and assist with seating and guest flow. Support service staff by delivering food and beverages, resetting tables, and maintaining dining room cleanliness. Learn point-of-sale systems, reservation platforms, and table management procedures. Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings to assist guests when needed. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards. Work collaboratively with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Qualifications Must be eligible for a J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa (Hospitality Internship or Trainee Program). Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a hospitality, tourism, or related program. Strong interest in hospitality and guest service. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
