Job Description
GLO Resources is hiring an experienced Director of Operations to work in St. Gabriel, LA. The pay range being offered is $120k
- $150k per year, depending on experience. The standard schedule is Monday
- Friday, 7 am
- 4:30 pm with overtime as needed based on customer requirements.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Director of Operations to oversee the company's day-to-day operations and help lead its continued growth. This position will oversee valve repair and maintenance operations, quoting, billing, customer relationships, scheduling, staffing, and overall business performance. This ideal candidate will have proven experience in the valve industry, strong mechanical aptitude, and demonstrated ability to manage employees and run business operations.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily shop, valve repair, and maintenance operations. Manage quoting, estimating, scheduling, invoicing, and collections. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers. Serve as a key point of contact and professional representative of the company. Manage employee schedules, productivity, performance, and accountability. Monitor alongside upper management the revenue, expenses, productivity, and overall profitability. Work closely with ownership to provide updates on business performance and operational results. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, increase revenue, and bring in new customers. Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to customer specifications. Help build the operations team, including hiring and overseeing shop employees. May be assigned other duties as needed.Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience or operations management experience required, preferably in valve industry. Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of industrial valves, safety valve experience is highly preferred. Proven experience managing employees and overseeing day-to-day business operations. Experience with quoting, estimating, and/or billing. Strong customer service, communication, and relationship building skills. Ability to lead a team, solve problems, and follow through on commitments. Strong business judgement with a focus on profitability and growth. QuickBooks experience is preferred.Benefits Offered:
