Job Description

Westaff is recruiting for an experienced Janitor for a Fab Shop in St Gabriel. The Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of company facilities and grounds.

Hours:

Monday - Friday, 700am-330pm, some weekends. $16-18 an hour This position performs a variety of custodial and grounds maintenance duties to support daily operations and ensure a clean, safe, and professional work environment for employees and visitors. The successful candidate will be dependable, self-motivated, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively with others.

Essential Duties:

Maintain acceptable appearance and cleanliness of offices, lunchrooms, and conference rooms, and floors. Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. Sweep and maintain shop floors and designated clean room areas. Empty trash receptacles and collect litter from outdoor areas, including parking lots and facility grounds. Limited - Perform lawn care duties, including edging, trimming, and watering lawn to maintain the appearance of facility grounds. Support production departments by performing housekeeping and cleaning tasks as needed. Clean and maintain sweep records storage areas. Follow all safety procedures and perform work in a safe manner. Inspect, clean, and replace air conditioner filters Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. #westaffjobs Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, kneel for entire shift.
