Operations Manager Description:
The Operations Manager keeps Arlington Children's Theatre'sanizational operations running efficiently including oversight ofmunications, contracts, registration, and scheduling, database management, and gift acknowledgement; ensuring polished program and administrative operations. The role reports to the Artistic Director, and works closely with ACT program leads, staff, and board members to support smooth program delivery and to maintain efficient, well-documentedanizational processes. 20 hrs/week $20/hr (~$20,800 annually) This role is mostly remote but may require in person attendance at some trainings, meetings, and events. Does not require regular attendance at rehearsals Attendance at some performances is encouraged This person may work overhire and/or contractor roles for additional pay. Overhire and contractor hours are separate from and additional to regular hours; the two are tracked andpensated independently, and no hour may be billed to both roles. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-dayanizational operations and administration, ensuring operational systems and priorities support ACT's programs and artistic vision. Maintainanizational records, contracts, calendars, schedules, databases, and administrative systems, ensuring information is accurate,anized, and accessible. Complete administrative preparation for productions, classes, and programs, including contracts, CORI processing, registration, rosters, and program-specific participant/familymunications. Manage ACT's generalanizationalmunications, including the info email account and Google Voice number; respond to routine inquiries from families, participants, staff, andmunity members, and route or escalate programmatic, artistic, financial, or other specialized questions to the appropriate person. Support the operational and logistical needs of ACT program leads, including the Education Manager and Production Manager. Maintain ACT's and other digital platforms, coordinating with staff and board members to ensure information is accurate, current, and posted in a timely manner. Manage ACT's social media accounts; coordinate content with staff, board, and production teams; and respond to messages received through social media platforms. Support marketing, public relations, and audience development initiatives. Provide administrative support for fundraising initiatives, including maintaining donor and participant databases, accurately entering donations and other data, acknowledging gifts, and creating activity reports. Support basic financial administration and record-keeping, including maintaining documentation and coordinating information needed by ACT's Treasurer, accountant, and other relevant staff. Maintain clear operational workflows, documentation, and deadlines within the scope of the role, and proactively flag operational issues or needs to the Artistic Director.

Excellent written and verbalmunication skills and the ability tomunicate professionally and warmly with families, students, staff, artists, board members, andmunity partners.
Strong attention to detail andmitment to maintaining accurate records, information, andanizational systems.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, follow through on responsibilities, and proactively identify questions or operational needs.
Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential or sensitiveanizational, financial, employee, and participant information.
Comfort using and learning digital tools and platforms, including Google Workspace, databases/registration systems, platforms, and social media.
Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, board members, teaching artists, production teams, and volunteers in a fast-paced,munity-basedanization.
Commitment to creating a weing, inclusive, and supportive environment for young people and families.
Experience in administration, operations, arts administration, nonprofitanizations, education, theatre, or a related setting preferred.
Experience working with youth-serving or performing artsanizations is a plus, but not required.
