Summary :
New England Law | Boston has been a mainstay within Boston for over 100 years. Located in the heart of historic downtown, New England Law offers the opportunity to become an integral part of a special community of students, scholars, and dedicated people from diverse backgrounds. We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Business Office Coordinator to help us manage the daily operations of our environment. In this role, you will serve as a key staff member to coordinate the Controller's Office, Information Technology, Public Safety, Facilities, and the Payroll Office. You will coordinate administrative activities, streamline workflows, and create an inviting, efficient workspace.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate office operations, ensuring seamless in-person workflows. Act as the primary liaison between teams, vendors, and external partners. Organize schedules, team meetings, projects, and events. Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Assist with payroll operations for faculty, staff, and work study students. Assist with the Department of Information Technology in terms of operations and project-related timelines and deliverables. Assist with the Department of Public Safety in terms of operations and project-related timelines and deliverables. Assist with the Department of Facilities in terms of operations and project-related timelines and deliverables. Assist with the Controller's Office in terms of operations and project-related timelines and deliverables. Maintain accurate records, including invoices, contracts, and employee documentation. Develop and implement systems to improve administrative efficiency and communication. Monitor compliance with company policies and workplace safety standards.
Qualifications/Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or an associate's degree in a related field with 1 year to 3 years of experience is preferred. Must be able to work in-person from 9:00 AM. to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Experience in office administration or related roles. Proficiency in organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency in office tools and software, including Microsoft Office and project management platforms. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to foster collaboration. Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Salary:
The salary range for this position is $43,000-$88,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
