Full Job Description Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinator is responsible for operational oversight to include: Staffing Ongoing training of staff Working to achieve quality standards for their assigned hospitals. Auditing and maintaining employee files to ensure all personnel are in compliance with Babies First, State, OSHA, The Joint Commission (TJC) and hospital requirements. Ensuring all refer babies are being followed appropriately and getting the care they need through outcome. Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all staffing needs are met and will on-board and train any new staff. Coordinator will be responsible for providing site coverage when needed and will evaluate, prioritize, and screen newborns for hearing loss prior to discharge from hospital based upon established protocol. Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all state reporting is done timely and meets State requirements. Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all statistical reporting, billing information, staffing, quality, and satisfaction items are complete on time and as requested. Coordinator will ensure that all on-going operations are functioning properly and will reinforce best practices in regards to screening, management HIPAA compliance, etc. Coordinator will be responsible for other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Previous management or supervisory experience Excellent organizational skills Detail and multi-task oriented Excellent verbal and communication skills in order to communicate with staff, management and hospital personnel at all levels in a professional manner. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
