Job Description

Pay & availability $24-28/hour, based on experience (overtime paid at time-and-a-half for all hours worked over 40/week, per MA law) Full-time preferred (part-time considered for the right candidate) Morning hours preferred Qualifications 2+ years experience in retail operations, inventory management, or office administration — Required Experience with POS systems, scheduling software, or payroll processing — Preferred Prior experience in a small or family-owned business — Preferred Comfortable being reachable outside core hours for occasional last-minute coverage needs — Required Willing to personally cover a cashier shift when no other coverage can be found — Required Legally authorized to work in the United States — Required 21+ years or older — Required Description Store Operations Coordinator for a busy neighborhood gas station and convenience store. We're a family-owned business with a lot of regular customers and a close-knit team — if you like a workplace where people know each other, this is that kind of place. This is a back-office role supporting the owner — you won't be running the register or working the floor as your main job, but you should be comfortable stepping behind the counter when the store needs it.
Core responsibilities include:
Building and managing staff schedules Finding coverage on short notice when someone calls out or can't make a shift, and stepping in yourself as a last resort Placing and tracking vendor/inventory orders Processing payroll Supporting the owner with day-to-day operational decisions This role works mornings, giving you a quieter part of the day to focus on scheduling, ordering, and paperwork without the usual rush of the store. Because coverage gaps don't always happen during business hours, you should be comfortable being reached and helping sort out a fix even outside your regular shift — including covering a shift yourself if that's what it takes. You'll report directly to the owner. Thanks for checking us out!
