As the Night Audit, you will be the first point of contact for late-night guests and the key person responsible for reconciling daily transactions, maintaining guest relations, and safeguarding hotel assets. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nightly audits by verifying all financial transactions, reservations, and billing details to ensure accuracy and completeness. Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with professionalism and warmth. Provide exceptional guest services by addressing guest needs promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining a positive hotel experience. Maintain clear communication with management and other departments regarding any incidents or operational concerns that arise during your shift. Monitor security systems, perform routine safety checks, and ensure the safety of guests and staff throughout the hotel premises. Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to assist guests, vendors, or emergency services as needed. Complete detailed shift reports, incident logs, and reconcile daily financial records to support seamless day-to-day operations. Experience Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel operations is highly preferred. Strong background in front desk duties, guest services, or night audit roles within a resort or hotel setting. Multilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse guest populations; bilingual skills are especially valued. Demonstrated proficiency in hotel management software and multi-line phone systems to streamline communication. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations, phone etiquette, and hospitality standards. Knowledge of hospitality management principles, hotel procedures, and guest services best practices is essential. Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail.
