District Operations Supervisor - Boiler Team

Support service sales by assisting with quotations and estimates; review scopes of work, labor and material costs, assess profit risk, control job expenses, and provide feedback to the Operations Manager.
Establish service and project timelines, coordinate schedules with customers, assign technicians, manage equipment and material orders, and secure all required customer signoffs.
Provide leadership, supervision, and development for the boiler service technician team, including coaching, mentoring, and hands-on training support.
Oversee call-in and transactional service quotes, ensuring timely pricing and proper technician assignment.
Maintain regular communication with existing customers and build strong relationships to identify additional service, repair, and sales opportunities.
Ensure preventive maintenance contract commitments and boiler inspections are completed on time, while supporting technician scheduling with the Service Coordinator.
Work with technicians to generate pull-through repair and service opportunities from field findings; oversee customer-care initiatives, including Tech Tip programs.
Set technician goals and complete annual performance reviews on schedule.
Coordinate technician training plans - including combustion, controls, hydronic systems, and electrical fundamentals - and report training plans and budgets to the Operations Manager.
Partner with Service Sales and the Operations Manager to resolve customer issues, including participating in on-site visits.
Provide weekly reports on job status, revenue, and warranty recovery to the Operations Manager.
Monitor warehouse, truck, and tool inventory; approve tool purchases as needed.
Provide technical guidance on boiler and hydronic system projects - assess needs quickly, recommend system configurations, and ensure compliance with ASME, NBIC, and local boiler codes.
Review technician repair scopes for accuracy and feasibility; assist with on-site troubleshooting and field escalations when required.
Manage overall division operations, including staffing, scheduling, performance oversight, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and applicable mechanical/boiler codes.
Working knowledge of commercial boiler systems (fire-tube, water-tube, condensing, cast iron, steam, and hot water), burners, combustion controls, and hydronic piping systems.

Your Qualifications:
Associate's degree OR relevant experience paired with a technical/trade school certification in HVAC, boiler systems, or mechanical trades.2-4 years of people leadership experience in a commercial boiler service, mechanical service, or related field service environment.Working knowledge of commercial boiler systems (fire-tube, water-tube, condensing, cast iron, steam, and hot water), burners, combustion controls, and hydronic piping systems.
