This position is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day administrative operations of the People Operations department while ensuring exceptional service, confidentiality, compliance, and operational excellence The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, proactive, solution and service-oriented, with the ability to balance policy consistency with practical flexibility. This individual must be approachable and welcoming while also possessing the confidence and professionalism to handle sensitive matters firmly and discreetly when necessary. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Director of People Operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Employee Support & Office Administration Serve as the first point of contact for all employee and management inquiries related to People Operations. Provide exceptional customer service to team members and applicants. Foster a welcoming and professional environment within People Operations Maintain employee files and records with the highest degree of confidentiality, discretion and compliance Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes for all employees. Assist team members with benefits enrollment, payroll inquiries, employment verifications, and general employment questions Manage departmental communications, correspondence, calendars, and office organization. Recruiting and Staffing Coordinate recruiting activities, including job postings, career fairs, interview scheduling, and candidate communications. Assist department leaders with staffing needs and onboarding initiatives. Support seasonal hiring efforts and large-scale recruiting initiatives. Human Capital Management Systems & Payroll Support Maintain employee data within Human Capital Management (HCM) systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Support payroll administration by processing changes, tracking documentation, and assisting with payroll-related inquiries Generate reports and assist with workforce analytics and recordkeeping Employee Relations & Engagement Support employee relations initiatives and assist with addressing employee concerns in a professional and confidential manner. Coordinate employee wellness programs, recognition initiatives, and engagement activities. Promote a positive workplace culture that aligns with the Club's values and service standards. Compliance & Administration Assist in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain required labor law postings, documentation, and audit records. Support administration of policies, procedures, compensation programs, and benefits processes. Recommend process improvements and proactively identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications Required Qualifications Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Minimum of 3 years of administrative or human resources experience, preferably in hospitality, private clubs, hotels, resorts, or service-focused environments. Experience supporting a diverse workforce in a fast-paced environment. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Human Capital Management systems. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred. Human Resources certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar) is a plus. Experience with high-volume, seasonal staffing environments is highly desirable.
