Regional Restoration Location:
Multi-State /Regiona Travel:
Approximately 1-2 days per week, with each location visited at least once per month About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to oversee a growing regional restoration organization spanning five locations across four states . This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a restoration professional with experience across water, fire, mold remediation, demolition, and construction services . The Director of Operations will provide leadership and operational oversight across all locations while working closely with local management teams to drive consistency, efficiency, profitability, and growth. A major component of this role will be building a new Construction Services division from the ground up . Corporate has mandated the launch of this division within the next 12 months, giving this individual significant ownership and influence over the development and execution of the new service line. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations across 5 locations in 4 states Provide leadership, direction, and accountability to 9 managers representing various divisions and locations Establish and maintain consistent operational standards, processes, and best practices across all branches Monitor branch performance, productivity, profitability, and key performance indicators Support local managers in resolving operational challenges and improving overall performance Develop and mentor management teams while building a strong culture of accountability and collaboration Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, customer service, production, and profitability Work closely with corporate leadership to execute company initiatives and growth strategies Construction Services Division Development Take ownership of launching a new Construction Services division within the next 12 months Develop the operational strategy, processes, staffing plan, and service offerings for the new division Determine initial staffing needs and assist with recruiting and hiring a Construction Manager capable of establishing in-house construction capabilities Build relationships with qualified subcontractors and establish a reliable subcontractor network Develop processes for transitioning restoration projects into construction services Establish pricing, scopes, workflows, production standards, and quality-control processes Work with branch and mitigation teams to identify opportunities to expand construction services Build the foundation for a scalable construction operation that can grow substantially over the next 2-3 years Help develop the division into a sizeable in-house construction operation supporting the company's mitigation business Travel & Field Leadership Travel regularly between the company's five locations Expected to visit each location approximately once per month , with travel potentially occurring 1-2 times per week Meet with branch and division managers to evaluate operations, performance, staffing, and growth opportunities Provide hands-on leadership and support at each location Qualifications 5+ years of progressive leadership experience within restoration, remediation, construction, or a related industry Strong understanding of water, fire, mold remediation, demolition, and restoration operations Experience leading multiple locations, departments, or teams preferred Proven experience managing and developing managers Strong understanding of construction operations and project management Experience working with subcontractors and/or building subcontractor networksAPPLY TODAY
