Job Description

We're on the lookout for a certified, enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to become a valued member of our team! Our state-of-the-art, fully digital office was recently renovated and is home to a talented group of 3 General Dentists, 4 Hygienists, 1 Orthodontist, and 2 Oral Surgeons. With a strong and growing patient base, we're seeking someone who is passionate about building meaningful relationships with patients while delivering exceptional care. Responsibilities Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination Sterilize dental instruments properly (When needed) Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis Clean and help protect patients' teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride) Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques) Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures Take X-rays or dental impressions Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer) Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Monitor supplies Benefits Paid Leave (Vacation and Sick) Retirement Plan Long term disability Bereavement Leave and Voting Leave Flexible hours (Morning, Evening, Saturdays)
