Director of Operations:
In-Home Care Services Scarborough, ME Lead. Improve. Grow. An established in-home care provider is seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee the day-to-day performance of a growing personal care agency serving Southern Maine. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong teams, and understands what it takes to deliver exceptional care while maintaining operational excellence. Primary Responsibilities Direct the daily operations of a licensed personal care agency Lead office staff and caregiver teams to ensure consistent service delivery Oversee scheduling, staffing levels, recruiting, onboarding, and retention initiatives Maintain compliance with Maine licensing requirements and company policies Monitor operational performance, productivity, and financial results Foster relationships with referral sources, community partners, and clients Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and overall service quality Review key business metrics and develop action plans to support continued growth Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and administrative staff Qualifications 3+ years of leadership experience within home care, personal care, healthcare, or a related service industry Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing daily operations Working knowledge of state regulations and quality standards Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Comfortable balancing operational priorities with exceptional customer service Proven ability to lead change and drive results What You'll Find Here Opportunity to shape the future of a growing organization High level of leadership responsibility and decision-making authority Collaborative executive support Stable organization with long-term growth opportunities Competitive compensation based on experience
