Job Description
Operations Manager - All Haul Junk Removal & Recycling Southern Maine | Full-time, Monday-Friday | $65,000-$75,000/year (based on experience) All Haul Junk Removal & Recycling is growing and looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to provide leadership and operational support between company leadership and field crews. This person will serve as a right-hand partner to leadership, helping field employees, troubleshoot issues, reinforce expectations, and keep daily operations moving efficiently. A major focus of the role will be providing crews with consistent coaching, direction, and accountability while taking greater ownership of routine operational responsibilities. This is not a traditional desk-based position. The right person will be comfortable moving between leading people and getting involved wherever the business needs support—whether that means checking on a job, resolving a customer or crew issue, coordinating equipment repairs, organizing the shop, supporting recycling and metal-separation processes, driving a truck or trailer, assisting with job pricing, or occasionally stepping into the field. As the company continues to grow, this position has the opportunity to take on broader responsibility for All Haul's day-to-day operations. What You'll Do Lead and coach field crews day-to-day — set expectations, give real-time feedback, and hold people accountable Be the go-to problem-solver for jobs, vehicles, equipment, and customer issues Keep the shop, trucks, and job sites organized and running smoothly Support job pricing, scheduling, and customer communication Drive trucks and tow trailers as needed Grow into broader operational leadership as the company scales What We're Looking For Experience leading and coaching a team — field, trade, service, transportation, or similar hands-on environment Strong communicator who can manage different personalities and address issues head-on Dependable, organized, and able to work without hand-holding Comfortable with physical work when the job calls for it Valid driver's license with a clean-enough record for company insurance Junk removal/construction/landscaping/logistics experience is a plus, but not required — we'll take leadership and grit over industry background Compensation & Perks $65,000-$75,000/year, paid weekly Quarterly & holiday performance bonuses 5% commission on referred jobs Health insurance (company contribution) + dental available Retirement plan with 3% company match Paid time off & holidays Company phone or phone reimbursement Work attire & boot support provided Real path to growth as All Haul expands Why All Haul?
