Floating Shift Supervisor Michigan by the Bottle Part-Time | $17/hour Love wine, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences? We're looking for a Floating Shift Supervisor to help lead our team across our four Metro Detroit tasting rooms. This role supports all Michigan by the Bottle locations— Auburn Hills, Lake Orion, Royal Oak, and Shelby Township. As a Floating Shift Supervisor, you'll work where you're needed most, helping lead shifts, support our teams, and deliver exceptional guest experiences at every location. What You'll Do As a Floating Shift Supervisor, you'll help ensure every shift runs smoothly by supporting store leadership and leading the team when needed.

Responsibilities include:

Leading shifts and supporting Wine Stewards throughout service Delivering exceptional guest experiences from the moment guests arrive until they leave Coaching team members on hospitality, wine knowledge, and sales opportunities Opening and closing the tasting roomManaging cash handling and daily reports Ensuring the tasting room is clean, organized, and guest-ready Assisting with inventory, stocking, and merchandising Supporting special events and winery feature weekends Stepping into different locations as business needs require Helping create a fun, positive, team-first culture We're Looking For Someone Who Has previous restaurant, tasting room, retail, or hospitality leadership experience Enjoys coaching and motivating others Loves creating memorable guest experiences Is dependable, organized, and takes initiative Can remain calm and positive in a fast-paced environment Is comfortable working evenings, weekends, and special events Has reliable transportation and is willing to work at multiple Michigan by the Bottle locations Bonus Points If You Have Wine knowledge or an interest in learning about Michigan wine Experience with POS systems Event or hospitality management experience What We Offer Starting pay of $17/hour Employee discounts on wine, food, and merchandise Wine education and ongoing training Flexible scheduling Opportunities for growth within a growing Michigan hospitality company The chance to work alongside some of Michigan's best wineries If you believe hospitality is about creating experiences—not just serving drinks—we'd love to meet you.
