Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and attentive Night Shift/Desk Associate to join our hospitality team. This role is vital in ensuring seamless guest experiences during overnight hours, managing front desk operations, and maintaining the safety and security of the property. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills to handle guest inquiries, reservations, and emergency procedures efficiently. Duties Manage check-in and check-out processes for guests arriving or departing during night hours using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms Handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude to ensure guest satisfaction Conduct night audits to reconcile daily financial transactions accurately and prepare reports for management review Monitor security cameras, perform property inspections, and enforce hotel emergency procedures to ensure safety standards are maintained Maintain clear and courteous communication via phone and front desk interactions, adhering to proper phone etiquette Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to address guest needs promptly and efficiently Document incidents, unusual activities, or emergencies thoroughly in shift reports for accountability and follow-up Requirements Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, preferably with resort or hotel experience Strong knowledge of hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or comparable property management systems (PMS) Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests effectively Excellent customer service skills with a focus on problem-solving and guest relations Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond swiftly in critical situations Ability to handle phone communication professionally while demonstrating strong phone etiquette Previous night audit experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Hospitality background with a focus on guest services, front desk operations, and property management systems (PMS) Join us as a Night Shift/Desk Associate where your enthusiasm fuels memorable guest experiences!
