Dearborn, MI Cleveland-Cliffs, Dearborn Works operation has an immediate opening for a Shift Manager Operations. The Shift Manager will support our Pickle Line Tandem Cold Mill (PLTCM) and be responsible for supervising and directing the activities of operating employees in the department. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, organized, and with ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Summary of Responsibilities Schedules routine activities. Supervises completion of work assignments and follows established department plans. Maintains general discipline of the crew in meeting the daily production, safety and quality objectives. Instructs personnel in job requirements, company rules and practices. Coordinates production and maintenance activities with different departments, assists in developing continuous improvement plans. Monitors site's operation, adheres to safety, environmental, quality, and productivity performance standards and performs regular audits. Leads employees' training and performance review programs. Improves overall production, processes and services efficiency. Other duties as assigned.
