About Us All UP Snow Blowing helps make winter safer and less stressful across the Keweenaw through dependable, high-quality residential snow removal. We take pride in safety, quality, efficiency, and strong customer experience. The RoleWe're looking for a hands-on, decisive leader who can take ownership of field execution as our Field OperationsManager.



You'll lead real-time dispatch during snow events, monitoring routes, coordinating with operators by radio, andmaking decisions as conditions change - while ensuring delivery of safe, consistent, high-quality service across allproperties.



This role is primarily based in a dispatch setting during storms, with field involvement as needed to supportoperators, troubleshoot issues, or step in directly.



What You'll Do

  • Lead real-time dispatch execution within General Manager defined plans, including coordination,prioritization, and problem solving during snow events
  • Resolve field issues in real time and follow up on misses to maintain consistent service quality, escalatingrecurring issues to the General Manager
  • Ensure equipment readiness and uptime before, during, and after snow events
  • Lead operator field training and readiness throughout the season
  • Provide in-field coaching and support during dispatches
  • Review operator notes post-dispatch and follow up on issues
  • Coordinate with city operators and external partners
  • Complete one-time clearings as needed
  • Support client quoting and onboarding through field input and system setupSeason SnapshotOct-Nov (Preseason | Mostly Days): Support quoting, assist with hiring and training operators, ensureequipment and field readinessDec-Mar (In Season | Overnights): Lead dispatch, coordinate operators, solve problems in real time whilemaintaining marker placement, and equipment readinessApr-May (Postseason | Days): Oversee equipment storage, marker removal, and season wrap-up What You Need• Availability for on-call work November-April, including overnight, weekends, and holidays• Demonstrated ability to make clear, timely decisions in high-pressure, real-time situations• Proven ability to learn and reliably use mobile dispatch tools and our client management systems• Working knowledge of equipment with basic troubleshooting capability• Willing and able to work extended hours outdoors in active winter storm conditions• Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and reliable winter transportation• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Helpful Experience (Not Required)

  • Experience in operations, snow removal, logistics, or team leadershipCompensation & Benefits
  • $35,000-$45,000 for the 8-month season, with flexibility for higher compensation based on experienceand capability
