Job Description

Alice Springs RV Park & Resort is looking for an experienced, motivated Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of our growing, family-friendly campground. This is a leadership position for someone who enjoys creating exceptional guest experiences, building strong teams, solving problems, and keeping operations running smoothly. While our camping season runs through November, we're looking for someone interested in growing with us. For the right candidate, this position has strong potential to become a year-round leadership opportunity. You'll work alongside ownership and a remote administrative team that handles marketing, accounting, HR, and administrative support, allowing you to focus on leading the property, your team, and the overall guest experience. What You'll Be Responsible ForCampground Operations Lead the day-to-day operation of the campground, including guest arrivals, departures, reservations, and overall property management. Ensure the campground remains clean, safe, welcoming, and operating at a high standard. Recruit, train, mentor, schedule, and supervise campground staff and Work Campers. Build positive relationships with vendors while monitoring purchasing, contracts, and inventory. Oversee the Camp Store, Bar, and Concessions inventory while identifying opportunities to improve revenue and operational efficiency. Guest Experience Deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable guest experiences. Professionally resolve guest concerns and empower your team to do the same. Maintain a positive campground atmosphere for both guests and staff. Financial & Administrative Oversight Become proficient in our Campspot reservation system and oversee reservation accuracy. Monitor revenue collection, cash handling procedures, and weekly cash reconciliations. Assist with operational reporting and work closely with our accounting team as needed. Property & Maintenance Conduct regular property inspections to maintain high presentation standards. Coordinate maintenance projects and daily work assignments with our Work Camper team. Identify maintenance priorities and recommend capital improvements to ownership. Safety & Leadership Promote a safe environment for guests and employees. Ensure compliance with campground policies and applicable health and safety regulations. Respond calmly and effectively during emergencies or operational challenges. What We're Looking For Previous campground, RV resort, hospitality, hotel, or property management experience strongly preferred. Proven leadership experience managing employees and daily operations. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with budgeting, inventory management, and financial accountability. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where every day is different. Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with Campspot is a plus but not required. Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and occasional on-call responsibilities during the camping season. Valid driver's license. Why Join Alice Springs? Manager housing available.
