The Operations Supervisor, under the general direction of the Resource Recovery Center Deputy Director, is responsible for supervision of the Muskegon County Resource Recovery Center's Operations divisions. This involves supervising the Irrigation Operators and Collection System Operators and overseeing irrigation pumping and distribution systems, the Rapid Infiltration treatment system and other pumping stations impacting the management of groundwater migration on the Resource Recovery Center site, treatment cell aeration, bar screen operation, dike integrity and flow monitoring. The Operations Supervisor assists RRC Deputy Director as needed and performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Entrance Qualifications:

1. Possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in geology, engineering, engineering technology or related field; AND Have a minimum of three (3) years full-time supervisory work experience.2. Must have a valid driver's license. Physical Conditions /

ACTIVITIESAn employee in this class performs generally sedentary work activity requiring the occasional lifting of objects weighing thirty-five (35) pounds or less.

ENVIRONMENTAL

CONDITIONSThe Operations Supervisor generally performs work activities inside various facility buildings and may work outside on the grounds associated with the treatment facility. Travel throughout Muskegon County may be required.
