Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to provide leadership of operative employees and oversee production operations at the Lovejoy plant located in South Haven, MI. This includes responsibility for all aspects of operations management including, safety, performance/talent management, scling, quality, productivity, on-time delivery, continuous improvement, and business plan achievement.
Essential Responsibilities:
Ensure legal and internal policypliance for environmental, health and safety programs; and identify and implement improvements in these areas.
Directly manage operative employees for performance against established metrics, including pay and development decisions.
Coordinate training and development of operative employees, ensuring required staffing and cross-training exits.
Help build the productions scle and manage production precisely to that scle, providing proactive signals if scle attainment is in jeopardy.
Ensure in-process and outgoing product quality meets customer requirements and specifications.
Communicate well with all employees to ensure that work scle and requirements are understood and clearly pursued and that all employees are engaged and motivated.
Evaluate and continuously improve productivity by developing and ing rigorous lean management principles.
Monitor in-process orders and intervene as necessary to achieve scle aplishment and on-time delivery.
Continuously drive positive change and improvement in all facets of operations and customer service.
Establish operating budget and manage all costs and expenses to that budget.
Maintain andply with all standard operating prores and processes.
Work with management team to achieve all business plan targets for safety, shipments, gross margin, on-time delivery, quality and cost control.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree or equivalent experience required, bachelor's degree preferred.
7 years of supervisor/management experience preferred.
The pay range for this position is $72,000 to $95,000 annually and ismensurate on experience andcation and could pay more or less than the posted range. This full-time position is eligible to participate in thepany's short-term incentive program, paid time off, 401k, andprehensive benefits package including, medical, dental and vision.
This position may require access to United States export controlled technical data ("CTD") and hardware under the Departments of US State (ITAR) and/or Commerce (EAR). Eligible candidates are; US Citizens, Green Card holders, Asylees or others eligible to receive US export license authorizations. Candidate must be authorized to work in the US.
