This role requires deep experience in data center construction, electrical infrastructure, and large commercial/industrial projects . You will be responsible for building teams, improving systems, and driving operational excellence as we expand into hyperscale data centers, mission-critical environments, and government work . Key Responsibilities Lead and manage electrical operations across multiple large-scale projects Oversee data center construction projects (ground-up and TI) including power distribution, switchgear, UPS systems, and backup generation Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for field execution Manage project managers, superintendents, foremen, and field crews Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, NFPA, and all safety regulations Drive schedule performance, cost control, and labor productivity Collaborate with estimating team on preconstruction, budgeting, and value engineering Build relationships with GCs, developers, and national clients Lead workforce planning, hiring, and training initiatives Implement lean construction practices and operational efficiencies Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in electrical construction operations 5+ years in a senior leadership role (Operations Manager, Director, or similar) Proven experience with data centers / mission-critical facilities Strong background in: Power distribution systems Switchgear, transformers, UPS systems Backup generators and redundancy systems Deep knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) Experience managing multi-million dollar electrical projects ($5M-$50M+) Ability to lead large teams across multiple job sites Required Certifications OSHA 30 (minimum)
NFPA 70E
Certification Valid Driver's License Preferred Qualifications Master Electrician License (MI or multi-state preferred) Experience with hyperscale data centers (AWS, Google, Microsoft, etc.) Experience in government / federal / DoD projects PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification Experience with Accubid, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar construction software
