Field Operations Manager Guided Steel Erectors - Minnesota Guided Steel Erectors, a leading steel erection company in Minnesota, is seeking an experienced Field Operations Manager to oversee job site operations, coordinate teams, and ensure efficient use of time, equipment, and resources.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Coordinate and oversee crews, subcontractors, and equipment to optimize productivity. Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to deadlines. Enforce safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with OSHA and industry regulations. Serve as the main point of contact between the field and office, providing regular updates on project status. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise on job sites to maintain progress and quality standards. Maintain and track equipment usage, ensuring proper maintenance and availability. Train and mentor field personnel to promote a skilled and motivated workforce.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a foreman in steel erection required. 1+ years of management experience desired. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and coordinate multiple teams. Strong knowledge of steel erection processes, safety standards, and construction best practices. Excellent team-building, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents. Proficiency with project management software and computer programs and applications. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
