Between September 28 and October 4, 2026 About Momentum Momentum is a privately held company opening multiple Sky Zone parks across the Midwest. We launched our first park in Wichita in July 2026, our second in Rochester Minnesota, and our third will be in Lincoln, Nebraska. We are building something bigger than a single location. We are building a team, a culture, and a business designed for long-term growth. We're looking for a high-performing Assistant General Manager (Operations) who wants to help build from the ground up and grow with us as we scale. Position Overview As Assistant General Manager, you will report directly to the General Manager and serve as the second-in-command of park operations. This is not a desk job. You will lead from the floor, set the tone for every shift, coach and develop team members, solve problems in real time, and help drive the overall performance of the business. You will play a key leadership role across: Team development and accountability Guest experience and service recovery Membership sales and revenue performance Labor management and operational efficiency Safety, compliance, and facility standards The right candidate knows how to balance people leadership with business performance. Who Succeeds Here You will likely thrive here if you: Lead from the front and are willing to jump into any role when needed Can coach young hourly teams while holding a high standard Stay calm and decisive during high-volume weekends, parties, and guest escalations Understand that labor, sales, safety, and guest experience all matter See problems early, bring solutions, and take ownership Qualifications We're looking for someone who brings: Minimum 3 years of management experience in a high-volume customer-facing environment such as hospitality, restaurants, retail, fitness, or entertainment Proven experience leading teams, managing shift execution, and holding people accountable Sales leadership experience preferred, including memberships, upselling, or other performance-driven environments Strong communication and coaching skills Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to stand for extended periods and lift at least 20 pounds Core Responsibilities Team Leadership & Guest Experience Lead, coach, and develop Team Leads and frontline team members Set clear expectations and create accountability across every shift Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, training, and performance management Handle guest escalations with professionalism, urgency, and sound judgment Create a culture where team members feel supported, challenged, and recognized Operations & Financial Performance Help drive performance across memberships, birthdays, events, food & beverage, and other revenue channels Monitor labor performance and staffing levels in real time Review KPIs and operational reporting to identify opportunities and address issues quickly Support inventory management, purchasing, and expense control Partner with leadership to improve efficiency, profitability, and guest satisfaction Safety, Compliance & Facility Standards Ensure all team members are properly trained on safety procedures and incident response Conduct daily facility walkthroughs and enforce cleanliness and brand standards Ensure attractions, equipment, and park systems remain safe and operational Complete incident reporting, maintenance documentation, and follow-up as needed Maintain compliance with company standards and OSHA requirements Compensation & Benefits We believe strong leaders should be rewarded.
