Overview:
The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management, coordination, and hands-on execution of facility operations for the Graham Park Exhibition Center. Working under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Operations Manager provides leadership for venue operations, event conversions, facility readiness, maintenance coordination, and safety compliance. This position serves as a key member of the management team and is responsible for ensuring the facility is maintained at the highest standards while delivering exceptional experiences for event organizers, exhibitors, guests, participants, and community stakeholders. This role pays an annual salary of $48,000 - $52,000 Benefits for
Full-Time Roles:
Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching, and Paid Time Off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays) This position will remain open until December 31, 2026.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing and performing tasks to set up, convert, and tear down events Responsible for facility maintenance and snow removal Coordinate event logistics as assigned Manage and clean changeover equipment and areas Assist Director of Operations with projects as requested Adhere to all Venue Management Policies and Procedures Assist the Event Manager with all facets of event management and coordination Other duties as assigned by
Director of Operations or General Manager Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required 3-5 years of experience with event changeovers & the general functions of the Operations Department Knowledge of management principles, with emphasis on working with & training staff Knowledge of boilers, chillers, and refrigeration is helpful. Ability to climb stairs and lift heavy objects unaided Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended numbers of consecutive days Must be able to, or willing to learn how to operate equipment such as skidloader, pallet jacks, telehandlers, and others Strengthened by our Differences.
