Join Catholic Charities in this important role of Casual Senior Dining Coordinator for our Senior Dining/Meals on Wheels program and help others to live their best life. What You Will Do The Senior Dining Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and provision of Congregate and Meals on Wheels services at assigned Catholic Charities Senior Dining locations including rural areas. This is a casual position, to assist as a sub during staff absences. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the provision of community dining at the Senior Dining site:
  • Register & engage with the diners; ensure a pleasant & congenial environment at the site; as necessary, provide information about and direct clients to additional services that would be helpful to them.
Recordkeeping:
maintain activity roster of meals served; complete documentation for Insurance/Waiver meals & ensure authorization has been received from county/insurance companies for meals; record diner contributions & deposit funds; order supplies (other than food); submit weekly reports to Senior Dining Administrative office.
  • Maintain Senior Dining location in accordance with lease & host facility requirements/policies.
  • Implement Senior Dining location goals in accordance with the yearly contract goals.
  • Achieve a safe environment for diners, volunteers, and others at the site; report any safety incidents to Supervisor. What We're Looking For (Required Qualifications)
Education/Training:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
