Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here A rapidly growing, multi-state franchise organization within the fast-casual specialty food space is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead current operations and help build the infrastructure for significant future expansion. This is a hands-on opportunity for a proven senior operator who knows how to scale people, processes, and performance while staying connected to the field.

Director of Operations Benefits and Compensation:

• Base salary up to $140,000
• Performance bonus opportunity up to 25%
• Senior leadership role reporting directly to ownership

• High-visibility role with direct involvement in new-market and new-unit growth
• Multi-state operational leadership responsibility

Director of Operations Requirements & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of senior multi-unit operations leadership at the Director, Regional Director, or comparable level
• Proven experience directly leading and developing District Managers, Area Managers, Regional Managers, or other multi-unit leaders
• Experience managing a significant multi-location portfolio through subordinate multi-unit leaders, not solely managing General Managers
• Personally led multiple new-unit openings from pre-opening planning through grand opening and post-opening stabilization
• Developed pre-opening staffing, leadership hiring, onboarding, and training plans
• Direct accountability for multi-location P&Ls, sales, profitability, labor, cost controls, KPIs, and operating results
• Proven ability to use financial and operational data to identify performance gaps and implement measurable improvement plans
• Experience building leadership bench strength and organizational structure during periods of growth
• Ability to develop scalable operating, training, communication, and performance-management processes
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively across multiple states and future markets
• Comfortable working directly with ownership while operating with significant autonomy
• Must be a hands-on field leader who is comfortable visiting locations, coaching leaders, evaluating execution, and solving operational challenges

Director of Operations Preferred Background & Skills:

• 10+ years of progressive restaurant, bakery, QSR, fast-casual, specialty food, or hospitality operations experience
• Franchise operations experience
• Experience within a founder-led, entrepreneurial, or growth-stage organization
• Track record of scaling a multi-unit organization into new markets
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, labor management, food cost, and location-level profitability
• Experience creating KPI scorecards and consistent accountability rhythms across multiple markets
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing multi-unit leaders and General Managers
• Builder-and-operator mentality with the ability to create structure without unnecessary bureaucracy
• Comfortable operating in an environment where systems, processes, and leadership infrastructure are continuing to evolve
