$80,000 - $90,000 + Base Salary + Performance Bonus About Us Kincade Cox Logistics Holdings Corp. is a FedEx Ground Independent Service Provider operating a growing delivery network out of the St. Peters, Missouri terminal. We are seeking an experienced Business Contact (BC) / Operations Manager to oversee the daily operation of a 16-20-truck fleet serving North St. Louis County ( 63031, 63042 ) and surrounding service areas. This is a leadership position responsible for service performance, driver management, fleet readiness, safety compliance, staffing, and operational profitability. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can manage people, solve problems, protect service levels, and step into operations when necessary. Key Responsibilities Manage all day-to-day FedEx Ground operations Lead a team of approximately 20-30 drivers and support personnel train, coach delivery drivers Monitor service scores, safety metrics, and route performance Coordinate daily dispatch and contingency planning Oversee accident investigations and corrective action plans Ensure compliance with FedEx ISP standards and procedures Manage fleet maintenance schedules and vehicle readiness Conduct ride-alongs, route audits, and driver evaluations Monitor payroll hours, staffing levels, and operational efficiency Lead peak season planning and execution Maintain strong relationships with terminal leadership and FedEx personnel Additional Operational Requirements Must possess the ability to safely operate and complete a FedEx Ground delivery route when operational needs require Must be willing to run routes following loadout during staffing shortages, peak season, contingency operations, service recovery events, or emergency situations Ability to perform ride-alongs and provide hands-on coaching in the field Maintain qualifications necessary to operate company delivery vehicles and meet all FedEx ISP safety requirements Lead from the front with a team-first mentality and strong accountability Preferred Qualifications Previous FedEx Ground BC experience strongly preferred Amazon DSP Operations Manager, Station Manager, or Delivery Operations experience highly preferred Experience managing multiple routes, drivers, and fleet operations Strong understanding of GroundCloud, route optimization, and last-mile delivery operations Knowledge of DOT compliance, safety programs, and fleet management Proven leadership and conflict-resolution skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment Required Qualifications Valid Driver's License & DOT card Pass a Background Check / Drug Test ( THC is screened) Management experience in transportation, logistics, parcel delivery, or fleet operations Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, peak periods, and operational emergencies Compensation & Benefits $80,000 - $100,000+ Base Salary Performance Bonus Opportunities Paid Time Off Advancement Opportunities Company Technology and Equipment Provided Opportunity to grow with an expanding FedEx Ground operation Ideal Candidate This is not a desk manager position.
