Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to join the team at Extended Stay America - Jackson North. The Operations Manager will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, supporting the General Manager, developing the team, and ensuring the property consistently meets company standards for guest service, cleanliness, safety, and profitability. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure efficient execution of all departments. Lead, coach, and hold team members accountable for performance and attendance. Monitor housekeeping operations, room cleanliness, inspections, and room readiness. Ensure guest concerns are addressed promptly and professionally. Conduct regular property and room inspections. Monitor maintenance issues and ensure work orders are completed timely. Assist with staffing, interviewing, hiring, training, and employee development. Review daily operational reports and identify areas requiring improvement. Support revenue, occupancy, and cost-control initiatives. Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and safety procedures. Monitor labor and scheduling to ensure appropriate staffing levels. Assist with inventory control and purchasing. Maintain accurate operational records and documentation. Support the General Manager with achieving financial and operational goals. Promote a positive team culture focused on accountability, cleanliness, and exceptional guest service. Qualifications Previous hotel management or supervisory experience preferred. Extended-stay hotel experience is a plus. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to coach, motivate, and hold employees accountable. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when needed. Proficiency with hotel operating systems and Microsoft Office preferred. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities.
