reviews $60,000•$70,000 a year•Full-time Position Purpose The Immanuel Direct Manager provides strategic leadership and oversight of the Immanuel Direct Moving Services program. This role is responsible for program growth, revenue generation, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. The Manager develops and executes business strategies, oversees staff and logistics, and ensures the program operates as a high-quality, sustainable service line. This position is focused on program leadership and business operations. Duties and Responsibilities Position Duties Strategic Leadership & Program Growth Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for Immanuel Direct Moving Services Identify new revenue streams including external customers and service expansions Establish partnerships with internal departments and community organizations Monitor market trends and adjust service offerings accordingly Financial Performance & Revenue Targets Establish annual revenue goals and track monthly performance against targets Develop pricing strategies and service packages to maximize profitability Achieve targeted profit margins through cost control and efficient operations Monitor key metrics such as revenue per move, cost per move, and utilization rates Prepare financial reports and forecasts for leadership review Operations Management (Moving Services) Oversee scheduling, logistics, and coordination of all moving services Ensure efficient staffing and resource allocation Develop and implement standardized workflows and procedures Team Leadership & Supervision Recruit, hire, train, and supervise moving staff Provide performance management and professional development Foster a positive and accountable team culture Customer Experience & Service Excellence Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction Resolve escalated concerns professionally Maintain service standards aligned with Immanuel Living values Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with DOT and safety regulations Maintain documentation and operational standards Other Duties and Responsibilities Maintain good working relationships among staff Maintain understanding, patience, and tact in dealing with residents, resident families, and coworkers Maintain regular work attendance and follow established work schedule. Hours and days of the week must be flexible to meet scheduling requirements Essential Physical, mental, and Emotional Requirements The employee must be at least 18 years of age, as position operates potentially hazardous equipment. The employee must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and be able to work under time and/or deadline pressures. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand at least 90% of the shift; use hands to finger; handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, bend, squat, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift up to 10 pounds, rarely lift up to 20 pounds, occasionally lift up to 40 pounds, but rarely lift more than 40 pounds. The employee must occasionally reach above shoulder height, frequently reach from chest to shoulder, frequently reach from waist to chest, and frequently reach below waist level. The employee must occasionally carry up to 12 pounds but rarely carry up to 20 pounds. The employee must frequently push / pull up to 20 pounds, and frequently push up to 40 pounds but rarely push over 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required of this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Education and Experience Graduation from high school or GED preferred. Strong leadership and organizational skills Financial and business acumen Excellent communication skills 3-5 years in operations or program management 2+ years leadership experience Experience in moving or service-based business preferred Current and Valid Driver's License in good standing. Supervision This position reports to the Director of Facilities This position oversees and manages the Immanuel Direct department. This position interacts with managers, staff and other departmental staff, residents, and resident designees. The employee is authorized to make decisions as to the timing and sequence of work and the work is performed according to established policies and procedures and/or within applicable laws, rules, and regulations governing the tasks being performed.
