Spyglass Talent Solutions, a retained recruitment firm based in Raleigh, NC, has been engaged by an industrial cleaning services company to conduct a search for a Territory Manager based in Northeastern North Carolina. The company provides industrial cleaning, vacuum truck, and hydro blasting services to industrial and manufacturing clients, with crews on call 24/7/365 across North Carolina, South Carolina and Southern Virginia. The firm is growing its Northeastern NC / Southern Virginia footprint and is adding a Territory Manager to lead day-to-day field operations across multiple client sites in the region. This is a hands-on, "working manager" role, responsible for scheduling and dispatching crews, covering shifts personally when needed, and driving a significant amount between sites rather than managing a single fixed location. Responsibilities Own day-to-day field operations across multiple client sites within the territory Schedule and dispatch crews for both planned work (scheduled outages, Vacuum Truck services, Hydro blasting services) and reactive 24/7 emergency response calls Coordinate crews performing vacuum truck and industrial cleaning (solids, slurries, sludges, dust, liquid debris), hydro blasting (10K/20K), grain bin and silo cleaning, dry abrasive/water/dry ice Serve as a "working" manager, which means stepping in on tools/on calls personally when coverage requires it Recruit, supervise, and develop field-level staff Act as the primary point of contact between senior/corporate leadership and on-the-ground crews Maintain safety standards and quality of work across all sites and service lines in the territory Travel extensively throughout the territory; expected in the home office periodically Qualifications Professional background in transferable industries required, including maintenance, construction, restoration, industrial manufacturing, property management, emergency response, or industrial construction. Industrial services experience a plus. Comfortable managing a multi-site, field-based territory rather than a single fixed plant/location Prior experience with a high-travel, on-call, or restoration-like work rhythm (scheduled work mixed with reactive/emergency response) preferred Strong communication skills across both blue-collar field teams and senior leadership CDL a plus, not required Willing to be based near Ahoskie, NC, with regular presence in the office
