Event Operations Supervisor Department:

With a comprehensive understanding of event planning, logistical coordination, budgeting, and risk management, they play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of various activities. Their technical proficiency extends to general audio, video, and lighting equipment, coupled with familiarity in event setups, staging, and general production equipment. Upholding safety compliance is paramount, with a keen awareness of state and federal OSHA requirements, ADA regulations, and NFPA codes and standards. Proficient in interpreting event layouts on CAD drawings, the Event Operations Supervisor possesses the organizational excellence needed to manage complex event logistics. In addition to their technical acumen: The supervisor excels in leadership, showcasing the ability to coach, mentor, and motivate a diverse team. Operating with independence, they exhibit good judgment and initiative in handling responsibilities. Strong troubleshooting skills enable them to address issues promptly and safely during events, while excellent communication skills facilitate effective interaction with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. The ability to plan, coordinate, and supervise changeover/conversion crews efficiently underscores their role. Dependability is a hallmark, demonstrated through punctuality, adherence to varying shifts, and timely completion of responsibilities. Adept at multitasking and stress management, the Event Operations Supervisor builds and maintains robust client relationships, embodying a commitment to understanding and exceeding client expectations. Work Schedule/Hours:
Regular hours are from 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday, but nights and weekends (and sometimes long shifts) are required based on event schedule and as approved by the Supervisor.
Anticipated Hiring Range:
$42,436 - $44,218
