Job Description

THE ROLE
We need one person to run the day-to-day. You will be the one deciding who goes where, making sure the work gets finished, and making sure we get paid for it. This is not a job where you wait for someone to hand you a task list.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Service techs. Scheduling, dispatching, assigning jobs, and following up so nothing sits open. Delivery and install crew. Building the daily route, setting expectations with customers, handling problems when a unit doesn't fit or the site isn't ready. Billing. Invoicing completed work accurately and on time, and handling account follow-up. Parts. Ordering, receiving, tracking what's on the shelf, and filing warranty claims with manufacturers. Commercial accounts. Serving as the day-to-day contact for our business and property management customers. The store. Counter coverage, phones, appearance, and helping customers find the right part or the right appliance.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
In 30 days: you know our techs, our systems, and our customers, and you're running the daily board without help. In 90 days: you're running the service side independently, the schedule stays full, jobs close cleanly, and the store runs whether or not the owner is in the building.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experience in appliance repair, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or another trade service business. Appliance experience is ideal but not required. Experience scheduling and dispatching field technicians. Comfortable with field service software. We use Jobber. ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, or similar experience transfers fine. Experience invoicing and collecting from commercial or property management customers. Basic mechanical understanding of major appliances, or the willingness to learn it fast. Valid driver's license and a clean record. You'll occasionally be in a truck. Comfortable lifting and moving appliances when the crew is short.
WHO THIS IS NOT FOR
This is not corporate retail management. There is no district manager, no corporate playbook, no one above you writing your daily task list. If your background is running shifts at a chain store or restaurant and you've never scheduled a service technician or filed a warranty claim, this will not be a fit and we'll both waste our time.
Pay:
$19.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
