About the Role As a Production Operations Manager, you will lead high-performing teams to achieve operational excellence by optimizing production schedules and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will leverage data-driven insights and lean methodologies to enhance plant productivity, safety, and quality standards. Responsibilities Execute daily production schedules while ensuring strict adherence to operational and quality benchmarks. Utilize SAP and capacity planning models to strategically align staffing and resource allocation. Champion lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects to streamline workflows. Mentor and develop direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and professional growth. Analyze performance metrics across safety, quality, delivery, and cost to drive data-backed decision-making. Lead Tiered Gemba processes and conduct regular 6S and safety audits to maintain an injury-free, compliant environment. Communicate operational status and project progress through regular reporting and presentations to leadership. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field. 5+ years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment. Proven expertise in Lean manufacturing principles and staff training. Advanced proficiency in SAP, MS Excel, and MS Access for data analysis. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage industrial relations effectively. Preferred Skills Prior leadership experience specifically within the optical fiber cabling industry. Demonstrated success in managing non-unionized production teams. Strong background in Quality Management Systems and

compliance. Ability to maintain professional composure and lead effectively during high-stress operational challenges.
