Job Summary
This fully onsite position will supervise production processes and personnel in assigned field. Responsible and accountable for adherence to procedures, proper production, quality, maintenance, safety and schedules on assigned shifts; promote effective team member/Company relations to help improve customer service and Company profits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day production activities of plant products at the most economical cost consistent with prescribed quality standards in a timely manner. The incumbent is responsible for the cost performance of the assigned unit.
Create short-interval look-ahead production schedules that make sure that upcoming events are communicated, tracked and are being proactively attended -to
Promote all site initiatives including plant safety programs, lean initiatives, training programs, etc., and consistently interpret and apply all HR policies, practices and procedures among our plant personnel.
Assure Standard Operating Instructions and Good Manufacturing Practices are adhered to.
Participate in the resolution of employee complaints and personnel or performance issues and/or coach employees to encourage teamwork. Routinely evaluate and review employee performance. Perform counseling with employees in regard to job performance, attendance, etc.
Manage available resources to insure on time production and delivery of customer orders.
Verify production data is accurately recorded.
Maintain and verify accuracy of the hours each employee has worked.
Ensure the smooth startup of new processes and on-going production in all area departments.
Maximize capital resources and assist in maintaining equipment and facilities in proper working condition.
Constantly evaluate existing processes and establish teams to continuously improve these processes.
Performs other duties, as assigned based on business needs.
Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
Exhibits regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance
Education High School Diploma Required
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Work Experience Minimum 3 years in manufacturing and leadership experience required

Must wear safety toe shoes, safety goggles, and hearing protection, as required, in production areas.
