Overview Now Hiring:
Floor Manager - Elevated Coastal Seafood Restaurant We are seeking a polished, detail driven Floor Manager to join our team at a high end seafood restaurant on the Jersey Shore. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast paced, guest focused environment and takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards across every aspect of service.
Position Overview:
As Floor Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining strict oversight of both staff performance and the guest experience. You will serve as a visible leader on the floor, ensuring seamless service execution, upholding operational standards, and proactively addressing any issues with professionalism and urgency.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide hands on leadership during service, maintaining full awareness of dining room operations at all times Enforce service standards, policies, and procedures with consistency and accountability Actively monitor guest experience, anticipating needs and resolving concerns with poise and efficiency Supervise, coach, and direct front of house staff to ensure excellence in performance and presentation Maintain strong communication between front and back of house to ensure smooth service flow Lead by example in professionalism, urgency, and attention to detail Oversee opening and/or closing responsibilities as scheduled
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a management or supervisory role within an upscale or high-volume restaurant Strong leadership presence with the ability to command a room while remaining approachable Exceptional communication skills—clear, concise, and solution-oriented Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high standards Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure Flexible availability, including 3-4 days per week with evening and closing shifts required
