The ideal candidate is an exceptional project manager and relationship builder who thrives in a fast-paced executive environment, exercises sound judgment, manages competing priorities with ease, and anticipates organizational needs before they arise. This role reports directly to the Chief Development Officer and Chair of the Board of Trustees and works closely with Hospital and Foundation leadership. Responsibilities Board Governance & Trustee Relations Manage all operational aspects of Board of Trustees meetings, including annual calendars, meeting logistics, agendas, materials, and official board records. Coordinate with the CDO to prepare board presentations and governance materials while ensuring compliance with bylaws, governance policies, and regulatory requirements. Support trustee onboarding, orientation, education, and ongoing engagement. Monitor board action items and implement processes that improve board and executive effectiveness and efficiency. Executive Operations
  • Partner with Foundation and Hospital leadership to advance strategic priorities and organizational initiatives.
Translate executive strategy into actionable plans and manage executive-level special projects from planning through implementation. Prepare executive briefings, reports, presentations, dashboards, correspondence, and other strategic communications. Coordinate cross-functional meetings and facilitate collaboration among departments to strengthen organizational alignment and operational effectiveness. Strategic Project Management
  • Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple departments and stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, workstreams, risk assessments, and status reporting, proactively resolving barriers to keep initiatives on track and aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Support strategic planning and implementation by tracking organizational goals, executive priorities, and governance activities.
  • Prepare funding applications, proposals, presentations, and oversee contract execution. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as a strategic liaison among executive leadership, trustees, physicians, administrators, community leaders, and external partners, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear, consistent communication.
  • Draft executive and governance communications and translate complex information into clear, actionable messaging that supports decision-making and advances strategic initiatives.
  • Exercise sound judgment and maintain the highest level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Two to three years of progressively responsible experience supporting executive leadership, board governance, strategic operations, project management, or administration. Experience working directly with senior executives, governing boards, or executive committees. Demonstrated success managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously. Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives with diverse stakeholders. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word. Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
