Regional Director of Operations - Independent Living Hawthorn Senior Living is seeking a Regional Director of Operations to lead a portfolio of our independent living communities. In this role, you will provide leadership across a portfolio of communities, overseeing census, budget, resident relations, human resources, hospitality and dining services, maintenance, accounting, and safety.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

7+ years of experience in operations and financial administration within independent living, hospitality, or a related service-driven industry 5+ years of management/supervisory experience Multi-site leadership experience Strong proficiency with computer systems and relevant software Ability to travel extensively Working knowledge of risk and loss prevention through proactive maintenance Marketing fluency, including sales, advertising, census management, and public relations A genuine passion for hospitality, service, and creating exceptional resident experiences A track record of leading by example and communicating clearly A regular, hands-on presence with community leadership teams A history of driving improvement in safety, quality, cost, and employee relations Working knowledge of applicable laws, rules, and regulations
