Job Description

Position Summary The Warehouse Operations Director is responsible for the overall management and daily operation of a 25,000-square-foot warehouse , including the supervision and coordination of warehouse personnel, inventory, receiving, staging, pre-assembly, loading, and transportation activities. The Director will oversee the receipt and processing of 500+ shipping containers over an approximately 18-month period and maintain complete accountability of all materials and equipment entering and leaving the facility. Key Responsibilities Warehouse & Logistics Operations Direct all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, unloading, inventory control, storage, staging, pre-assembly, loading, and outbound transportation. Coordinate the receipt and processing of 500+ shipping containers over the project duration. Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient 25,000-square-foot warehouse. Coordinate container deliveries, unloading schedules, transportation, and material movement. Inventory & Material Control Maintain accurate tracking and accountability of all materials and equipment entering and leaving the warehouse. Document receiving, inventory, staging, pre-assembly, loading, and transportation activities. Verify shipments against packing lists, purchase orders, bills of lading, and other shipping documentation. Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials and maintain accurate inventory records. Pre-Assembly & Deployment Manage the staging and pre-assembly of equipment prior to transportation to the jobsite. Ensure all required components are received, assembled, inspected, labeled, and prepared for deployment. Coordinate loading and ensure materials and equipment are properly secured and documented prior to shipment. Coordinate outbound transportation schedules with carriers, project management, and field personnel. Personnel Management Directly supervise two (2) Warehouse Foremen , who are responsible for the daily direction of the warehouse workforce. Provide overall direction, scheduling, workload assignments, and performance oversight for the warehouse team. Manage employee attendance, PTO, sick days, and staffing coverage . Ensure employees are properly trained and follow established warehouse and safety procedures. Maintain a professional, productive, and safety-focused work environment. Safety & Reporting Ensure compliance with applicable warehouse, material-handling, and safety requirements. Oversee the safe operation of forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Maintain daily and weekly warehouse activity reports, inventory records, receiving documentation, and shipment records. Provide project management with regular updates regarding inventory, shipments, staffing, material status, and potential issues. Qualifications Minimum 5

•years of warehouse, logistics, material management, or distribution experience

•. Demonstrated experience managing warehouse personnel and high-volume receiving operations. Strong knowledge of inventory control, shipping, receiving, material handling, and transportation coordination. Strong organizational, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Experience with warehouse/inventory management software preferred. Forklift/material-handling experience and applicable certifications preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and manage multiple priorities.
