Weekdays 4:00 PM-8:00 PM and weekends 8:30 AM-1:30 PM About British Swim School British Swim School is a leading provider of swimming lessons and water safety education for children and adults. We are looking for an energetic, responsible, and people-focused Site Manager to help lead our swim school operations. The Site Manager is the leader on deck and plays an important role in creating a safe, organized, and positive experience for our students, families, and staff. The Position This is a part-time leadership position averaging approximately 20 hours per week . The Site Manager for North Bergen County will oversee the daily operation of the swim school during assigned shifts, support and coach staff, provide excellent customer service, help drive enrollment and student retention, and step in to teach swim lessons when needed to support the operation.Typical schedule:

4:00 PM-8:00PM Weekends:
8:30 AM-1:30 PM Approximately 20 hours per week Weekend availability is required Key Responsibilities Lead daily operations during assigned shifts Supervise and support swim instructors and Deck Ambassadors Ensure staff arrive on time, prepared, and in proper uniform Conduct pool deck and facility walkthroughs Ensure classes start and finish on time Teach swim lessons when needed, including covering instructor call-outs and staffing gaps Maintain the same high level of instructional quality and water safety standards expected of all British Swim School instructors Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and professional environment Provide exceptional customer service to families Build strong relationships with students and parents Address parent questions and concerns professionally Support enrollment and sales efforts Follow up with prospective families and help convert leads into enrollments Focus on student retention and identify opportunities to prevent cancellations Monitor class utilization and communicate opportunities for improvement Ensure student skills and progress are accurately updated Encourage referrals and positive customer reviews Track and communicate key performance metrics Assist with staff training, coaching, and accountability Communicate operational issues and opportunities to the Operations Manager Follow all company safety procedures and water safety standards What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: A natural leader who enjoys working with people Reliable, organized, and accountable Confident communicating with parents and employees Customer-service focused Energetic and positive Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Sales-minded and motivated by goals Able to coach employees and hold team members accountable Comfortable and qualified to teach swimming lessons Comfortable working around children and families Available for the required weekday evening and weekend schedule Previous experience in management, hospitality, childcare, education, recreation, fitness, or customer service is a plus. Previous swim instruction experience is strongly preferred.
