JOB SUMMARY
As a contract Midstream Operator 3, you will take a leadership role in midstream operations, working under limited supervision to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This position is heavily focused on compressor station operations, equipment reliability, troubleshooting, operational optimization, and leadership support across New Mexico and West Texas assets.
MAIN FUNCTIONS
Lead complex compressor station operations and maintenance activities under limited supervision Oversee operation and troubleshooting of compressor stations, including compressors, pumps, and auxiliary systems Coordinate advanced maintenance and optimization activities to maximize equipment reliability and runtime Utilize predictive maintenance tools to reduce unscheduled downtime Conduct and oversee visual inspections and GIS mapping verification activities Drive compliance with regulatory and DOT standards Coordinate emergency response efforts and field operational support Perform real-time surveillance and operational checks of compressor station systems Maintain detailed operational documentation and reporting Manage corrective tasks and oversee vendor performance Represent the company during material deliveries and operational support activities Collaborate with chemical technicians and engineering teams regarding equipment protection and upgrades Train and mentor junior operators and support peer-to-peer knowledge sharing Serve as a field-wide operational contact during emergency situations Maintain strong participation in safety programs and exercise stop-work authority when required Required Skills Compressor station operations and troubleshooting Engine and equipment maintenance Instrumentation and controls SCADA monitoring and operational analysis Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Regulatory and DOT compliance Data analysis and operational reporting Predictive maintenance tools Problem resolution and issue tracking Vendor coordination and oversight Leadership and mentorship capabilities Additional Notes Position services areas across New Mexico and West Texas including Carlsbad, Pecos, and Wink Candidate must provide own 4-gas monitor Candidate must show successful completion of Rig Pass and SafeLand training Assignment anticipated to last approximately 3 months with potential extension Personal vehicle required — position is not eligible for fleet charges Immediate hiring need / ASAP fill preferred sJWVcaqFLJ
