Job Description

SUMMARY The Private Patrol Operations Manager (PPOM) oversees the day-to-day security operations of the company. This role ensures officers are properly scheduled, supervised, trained, and deployed in accordance with company SOPs, client post orders, and New Mexico RLD requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(including, but not limited to the following) Daily oversight of security operations and officer performance Scheduling, deployment, and coverage of all assigned posts Ensuring officers maintain valid licenses, training, and certifications Conducting site inspections and post audits Reviewing reports, incidents, and use-of-force documentation Serving as liaison between clients, officers, and the PPO Implementing corrective action and coaching when necessary Assisting with hiring, onboarding, and training coordination
EDUCATION/EXPIRIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED required. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must hold a valid New Mexico Level
I, II, III, & PPOM
license Prior supervisory or management experience in security operations Knowledge of NMRLD regulations and private patrol operations Ability to manage personnel across multiple sites Must maintain license, firearms qualification, and certifications in good standing Must demonstrate competency and judgment in use-of-force decision-making Must maintain license and certifications in good standing Must pass background check and drug screening Must maintain license in good standing Must hold a valid Santa Clara Pueblo Gaming license (if applicable). Must hold a valid Driver's License. Excellent customer service skills.
AUTHORITY & LIMITATIONS
Authorized to enforce company policies and SOPs May recommend disciplinary action; final decisions rest with the Private Patrol Operator (PPO)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
The Guard must frequently lift, assist and/or move up to approximately 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. The Guard is required to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time. The Guard is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. However, based on the assigned location/site, the noise level increases to loud. The Guard is exposed to secondhand cigarette smoke and could be exposed to stressful situations and irate individuals.
