We are seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to lead field operations in Buffalo, NY. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can manage people, maintain operational standards, solve problems in real time, and represent TCG professionally with residents, partners, and project stakeholders. This is a part-time, project-based position , with approximately 6-10 operational days per month depending on project activity. There is potential for expanded responsibility as TCG grows its Western New York portfolio. The Role The Site Operations Manager will serve as TCG's senior field leader during active Buffalo operations. You will oversee daily workflow, field personnel, quality control, documentation, safety, productivity, and communication. You will work alongside a Field Supervisor responsible for leading the physical moving crew while maintaining overall responsibility for successful site execution. This is not simply a moving-crew position. We are looking for an operations leader who can establish structure, make sound decisions, hold teams accountable, and maintain professionalism in active residential environments. Key Responsibilities Lead daily site operations from startup through closeout Conduct crew briefings and establish daily assignments and priorities Manage field teams of approximately 6-10 employees depending on scope Monitor attendance, productivity, professionalism, safety, and performance Coordinate workflow with field supervisors and project stakeholders Ensure relocation activities are completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule Enforce property protection, furniture handling, and quality-control standards Ensure required photos, documentation, incident reports, and daily closeouts are completed Address resident and site concerns professionally and promptly Identify operational problems early and implement solutions Control unnecessary downtime, labor-hour slippage, and inefficient staffing Escalate significant personnel, safety, quality, or operational concerns to leadership Support consistent, profitable, and high-quality project performance What We're Looking For Ideal candidates have leadership experience in moving and relocation, logistics, transportation, warehousing, property management, affordable or multifamily housing, construction, facilities, hospitality, or another field-service environment.
Candidates should demonstrate:
Experience supervising frontline employees Strong leadership and accountability skills Sound judgment and real-time problem solving Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage changing schedules and priorities Professionalism when working with residents and project stakeholders Comfort using mobile technology for reporting, photographs, and documentation Reliability and flexibility around project-based scheduling Ability to work on site and remain active throughout operating days A college degree is not required . TCG values demonstrated leadership, reliability, judgment, operational discipline, and relevant experience. Schedule & Compensation This is a part-time, project-based position rather than a guaranteed 40-hour workweek. Current operations typically require approximately 6-10 active site days per month , with schedules varying based on project activity.
Compensation:
$28 - $32 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Strong performance may lead to additional responsibilities and opportunities as TCG expands its Western New York operations. Trace Coalition Global LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
