An Operations Manager manages operations for a specific area within a company or organization. Supervises staff, oversees quality control, process improvement, and budget management for daily work activities. Has significant authority within their area of responsibility such as hiring, training, and managing staff.
This location operates 24/7. The standard schedule is Monday-Friday, first shift; however, this role requires flexibility to support operations across all shifts as business needs dictate. The Manager is responsible for ensuring appropriate leadership coverage at all times.
Compensation:
$75000 base salary + bonus potential
Position Overview:
A well-established organization within the distribution and supply chain industry is seeking a proven Warehouse Operations Manager to lead site operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven leader with progressive management experience in distribution, transportation, or warehouse environments. The Manager will oversee daily operations, lead onsite teams, drive operational excellence, and ensure a high level of service and performance across the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead site operations with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and service excellence Oversee all inbound, receiving, order fulfillment, inventory control, and outbound functions Ensure operational performance meets or exceeds service expectations Review and analyze daily operational and productivity reports Monitor labor performance and drive efficiency improvements Address and resolve operational, customer, and associate concerns in a timely manner Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and engagement Partner on budget management and cost control initiatives Develop and manage workforce scheduling based on operational needs Lead recruiting, hiring, training, and development of team members Ensure accurate system transactions and data integrity across operations Oversee daily administrative functions including payroll and reporting processes
Qualifications:
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed 3+ years of leadership experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate teams Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Experience managing budgets and interpreting financial performance (P&L) Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
Education & Experience:
Experience in warehousing, distribution, logistics, or supply chain environments required Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Proven experience hiring, training, and managing teams Demonstrated ability to drive performance and deliver high levels of service
