Runnings is excited to announce a rare career opportunity for a District Manager to oversee a portfolio of high-performing stores in our Northeast region. Provide strategic leadership for stores in a key region, guiding performance, culture, and overall operational direction. What You'll Do Leadership Provide training, feedback, and performance management to ensure Store Manager have the skills and confidence to lead high-performing stores. Promote engagement, communication, and collaboration across stores to ensure leaders feel supported, connected, and motivated. Build a strong leadership pipeline by recruiting, hiring, and developing high performing store‑level leaders who model company values and deliver consistent results. Set clear expectations and strategic priorities, ensuring teams understand goals and how their work contributes to broader company success. Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and teamwork, ensuring Store Managers and their teams operate with clarity, alignment, and a shared sense of purpose.Store Operations Customer Service:
Drive exceptional customer service and brand consistency throughout the district.Financial Performance:
Oversee financial performance, ensuring stores meet or exceed annual goals.Operational Excellence:
Maintain operational consistency, strong organization, and effective delegation across stores.Safety:
Champion safety, loss prevention, and compliance standards.Property:
Ensure stores and properties are well‑maintained, merchandised, and aligned with community needs, while maintaining company standards.Travel:
Travel regularly between stores to support teams and monitor performance.Community:
Promote community connections by enabling stores to serve and support their local communities. Business& Collaboration Act as a liaison between stores and Support Center partners to improve communication, streamline processes, and ensure safe, functional, brand‑consistent store environments. Collaborate with Retail Buyers, Merchandising, Marketing, and Operations teams to execute programs, improve product presentation, and meet customer expectations. Share store‑level insights, market trends, and operational feedback with Support Center partners to support better decision‑making and continuous improvement. Build strong, trusted relationships across the organization to influence outcomes, strengthen operational performance, and support the company's strategic goals. What We're Looking For Proven Multi‑Unit Leadership:
7+ years of retail, hospitality, or related multi-store management experience in a high-volume environment.Hands-On Leadership Style:
Ability to coach, inspire, and build strong relationships with managers and team members.Strategic& Team-Focused:
Skilled in motivating diverse teams toward shared goals and operational excellence.Operational Problem-Solver:
Uses sound judgment, data, and insights to drive business decisions.Flexibility:
Ability to work a varied schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.Analytics-Driven operations:
Leverage business analytics to strategically improve operational performance and efficiencies.Total Rewards Total Compensation:
$135,000-$170,000/year (base plus bonus).Health, Dental& Vision:
